2018 Chaozhou International Embroidery Art Biennale

Stewart will be exhibiting Face to Face 9 in the forthcoming 2018 Chaozhou International Embroidery Art Biennale at the International Conference Center of Hanshan Normal University, Chaozhou, China.


“The Biennale is a professional, large-scale and international exhibition which provides a platform for embroidery artists who are interested in embroidery research, embroidery creation and embroidery art to display their talents.”

The exhibition begins on the 18th December.

World of Threads Festival

Stewart will be exhibiting Face to Face 1, 2, 3 & 4 in the forthcoming World of Threads Festival – International Contemporary Fibre Art Exhibition from the 13th October.

The exhibition will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre in Oakville, Ontario, Canada and is curated by Dawne Rudman and Gareth Bate.

The festival is one of the most vibrant fibre arts festivals and showcases contemporary fibre and textile art in all forms created by artists from around the World.

From Lausanne to Beijing, 10th International Fibre Art Biennale

Stewart will be exhibiting Face to Face 9 in the forthcoming exhibition From Lausanne to Beijing, 10th International Fiber Art Biennale, Tsinghua University Art Museum, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.


The opening event will be held on the 15th October and the exhibition continues until 15th November 2018.

5th Triennial Textile Art of Today

Stewart will be exhibiting Face to Face 7 in the 5th Triennial Textile Art of Today exhibition.

Textile Art of Today is an international touring exhibition of contemporary professional textile art and its latest trends. The exhibition presents innovative works which cross the boundaries of traditional textiles.


The exhibition will open on the 8th September 2018 at the Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum in Bratislava, before touring to several venues in Europe into 2019.
