14th International Biennial of Contemporary Textile Art

Stewart will be exhibiting Spectrum in the 14th International Biennial of Contemporary Textile Art with Scythia Fibre Art. The biennial will take place online between the 1st and 15th June 2022.

The exhibition will feature the work of 106 artists from 34 countries including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and USA.

Drawn In

Stewart will be exhibiting Baptism of Fire in the forthcoming exhibition, Drawn In at the Turnpike Gallery, Lancashire, UK.

Presenting a rich mix of drawings and works on paper, Drawn In celebrates half a century of the visual arts within Leigh’s inspiring Turnpike Centre and points towards many years to come of art and culture being made, shared and celebrated with our communities.

50 works are included in the show produced by artists who have previously exhibited at the gallery. These include works from the Flowers Gallery; Kirklees Collection; Huddersfield Art Gallery; Collect Art; Parafin Gallery; The Lowry Collection, Salford and Wigan Council who have generously loaned artworks for the exhibition.

The exhibition continues until the 11th June 2021.

10th International Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary Mini Textile Art

Stewart will be exhibiting two works from the 40 Hands series in the forthcoming 10th International Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary Mini Textile Art with Scythia Fibre Art. The exhibition will take place in Ivano-Frankivs’k, Ukraine between the 1st and 15th June 2021.

The work of 160 artists has been selected from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Great Britain, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay and the USA.
